1. Juxtaglomerular apparatus is a v. imp topic. Regulation of renin secretion and pathway of renin angiotensin system should be studied in detail.

2. Functions of kidney.

3. Tubulo glomerular feedback mechanism is again v. imp. The flow chart is easy to understand.

4. Glomerular filtration rate. It includes all the terms- Filtration fraction, EFP, Filtration fraction,  Factors affecting GFR etc.

5. You must know the general overview of which substances are reabsorbed and secreted in various parts of nephron.

6. Reabsorption of Sodium, Water, bicarbonate from various portions of nephron- PCT, Loop of Henle, DCT, CT is v.v. imp. Thier diagrams should be pasted in your mind. Make your proper notes and it will become easier to learn. No need to read rest like Potassium etc.

7. Reabsorption of glucose is again imp. It's graph of relation between Pg and Tg can come in exams.

8. Renal clearance and it's applications. It's tests- Inulin clearance, Urea clearance, PAH and creatinine cleaeance. Especially Creatinine clearance is v. v. imp

9. Dialysis in detail.

10. Mechanism of concentration and dilution of urine is a v.v. imp long question. You may find it difficult to understand but read it in Indu khurana where it is explained in detail with good diagrams.
Also study other examples of counter current system and role of Urea in it.

11. Difference between water and osmotic diuresis.

12. Acid base balance is again v. imp long question. You need to know the bicarbonate system, phosphate system, ammonia system along with diagrams. Making notes can make it easy for you.

13. Respiratory acidosis,  alkalosis , Metabolic acidosis and alkalosis , Anion gap

14. The process of micturition is imp. Micturition reflex . Cystometrogram and it's stages.

15. Difference between Eccrine and Apocrine glands.

16. Temperature regulating mechanisms  (by exposure to cold and hot) and fever are v. imp.
