In PSM, we have family viva and grand viva. Though examiner can ask anything in viva, but there are some important viva questions in psm that are likely to be asked.

Grand viva important questions

1. Define health
2. Determinants of health
3. Cold chain is v. Imp. Read it fully ( pay special attention to vaccine placement order in ILR and domestic refrigerator).
4. VVM
5. National immunisation schedule. You will be given a vaccine and you have to tell about it.
Also read schedule and doses of Vitamin A and Iron supplement
6. Heat sensitive vaccines - OPV > Measles > BCG
7. Cold sensitive vaccines - Hepatitis B > DPT and TT.
8. Light sensitive vaccines - Measles and BCG ( So, BCG vaccine vial is dark coloured).
9. Define family planning, eligible couple, target couple.
10. You will be given one contraceptive and you have to tell about it.
So read them all like saheli, Chhaya, Antara, MALA N, MALA D, Multiload 375, Cu T, Condom etc.

• Subcentre -  5000 and 3000 for hilly and backward area
• PHC - 30,000 and 20,000 for hilly and backward area
• CHC - 80,000 to 1,20,000
