2. The 4 heart sounds.
3. Normal ecg is the basic. you must know about the waves and segments etc in normal ecg.
4. Einthoven triangle.
5. In abnormal ecg, most imp. topic is Wolff parkinson white syndrome and heart block. Have just a brief overview of extrasystole and cardiac Arrhythmia.
6. Windkessel vessels, Resistance vessels, Shunt vessels.
7. You must know Laplace law and factors affecting viscosity of blood.
8. Neural regulatory mechanisms are wholly imp. VMC, CVC, Chemoreceptors are basic and examiners favourite questions even in viva also. Baroreceptors are also Imp.
9. Factors affecting heart rate is not much imp.
10.Control of cardiac output is v.v. imp. Frank starling law and factors affecting venous return often comes in exams.
11. Ficks method and dye dilution method
12. Regulation and determinants of BP are v. imp topics.
13. Phasic changes in coronary blood flow and it's clinical are imp. Study from Indu khurana. Also read factors affecting coronary blood flow.
14. Triple response is a v. imp and Easy topic.
15. Shock is a v. imp topic. It's classification and stages. You may find it difficult topic. In sembulingum, it's good flow charts are given that helps to clear your concepts.
16. Hypertension is again an imp topic. both primary and secondary. read fully.
